Welcome to the EBMOB workshop starting Monday 7th February 2022. The workshop generally runs from 9.30am until 2.30pm each day and they are conducted in a highly interactive and engaging environment. Below are some of the most asked questions.
What can I expect?
The week will be filled with a plethora of practical information supported by lots of engaging activities that will assist you to clarify and quantify your business idea. Whether you are at a concept stage or you have tested your business idea even as a hobby you will gain a lot of insight and launch into the NEIS program with confidence.
Will I need to share my business idea?
You can share as much or as little as you want. In our workshop we create what we call, the “3S environment.” It is one of Support, Synergy and Safety so you only need to share as much as you are comfortable with.
Will I need to do the activities?
Although they are not compulsory, they are an engaging way to discover about your business idea. They have been structured so they can be adapted to your business and you can apply them immediately. We are confident that they will be useful even after the workshop has ended.
Will I need to bring anything?
At the end of every day, you will receive an attendee’s copy of the slides however you may want to take notes during the session, so for this reason, we encourage you to have some paper and writing implements handy just in case you want to take notes of your own.

Photos and/or video recordings may be taken during Council-run events and may be used on Council’s website, social media and in publications. Council may also send images to media outlets, such as local newspapers, to assist with publicity for Council events. Please notify library staff if you do not want your image or video taken. For children’s programs, parents are responsible for permissions.
