Experiment Fest 2018, PHYSICS PM Sessions, 22-29 June, Callaghan

The Faculty of Science invites schools to participate in the 17th annual Experiment Fest at The University of Newcastle.

Experiment Fest is a unique program designed for HSC students to improve their skills and knowledge using a hands-on approach for selected difficult experiments and concepts.

Each activity provides students with an opportunity to use equipment that isn't available at many high schools and conduct experiments that directly relate to the HSC syllabus.

Organised by the Faculty of Science, Experiment Fest provides an enriching educational experience for senior high school students who are studying Biology, Chemistry or Physics.

Cost

$30 per student, per session

Bookings and Payment

For all sessions this year, you will be required to reserve your tickets online through an online booking system called Eventbrite. This online system will allow you to view the number of tickets available and the number of tickets sold for every session to enable you to choose the session/s which best suit your needs. Please ensure that you book as early as possible to increase your chances of securing your preferred session/s.

You will have the ability to cancel tickets or book additional tickets up until the booking deadline of midnight Friday 1 June. After this time, no further changes can be made and you will be invoiced for the number of tickets you have reserved.

Important Reminder

Similar to last year’s event, schools will be invoiced for the number of student tickets reserved online, regardless of the number of students who attend on the day. Please be aware of and prepared for this, as no refunds will be provided after the booking deadline has passed.
