This is your chance to get to know and help survey the special birds and habitats of Mason Park Wetland through two mornings with a professional ornithologist, BirdLife Australia volunteers and Strathfield Council officers. These events are being run by Strathfield Council in partnership with InSight Ecology.

We will be meeting at the northern end of Mason Park carpark at 8 am and continue until 11 am on Saturday 5 December and Sunday 13 December 2020 (see map). From there we will survey aquatic and bush birds present in revegetation and wetland habitats at the site. Numbers are limited to 20 participants on each of these days.

These are Covid19-safe events so when registering to attend please include your full name, email address and mobile phone number. Hand sanitiser will be available and social distancing will be required at both events. Please do not attend these events if you have symptoms of Covid19 or feel unwell.

Please bring your hat, water, sunscreen, binoculars (some spares will be available for loan) and keen eyes!
