Course details
The Certificate III in Pathology Collection course, or blood collection course, will prepare and provide you with an entry level qualification to establish your career in phlebotomy (also known as pathology collection). Completion of this qualification will give you the skills and knowledge to work in all areas across pathology collection, including medical centres, public or private health settings, hospitals and general practices.
Work experience
As part of the pathology collection course, LTT arranges work placements within industry collection centres to give you an opportunity to gain practical and real life experience in the workplace during your studies. During the work placement, you will develop valuable experience and skills in the industry prior to employment.
