Event description

Description

Bob Proctor has some of the most insightful teaching on human performance in the world and Sean will be sharing some of his wisdom at this event.

We become what we think about. If people knew the power of their thoughts they would never allow another negative though again.

Getting ordinary results when you know you, or your business, can achieve so much more is frustrating. Sean reckons that most people already know and can do enough to make a massive change in the results (personal, business, relationships, financial and health results) – they just don’t! He will explore why people and businesses stay “stuck” and don’t do what they know, often settling for less when they have a higher purpose and the ability to really step up. More often than not, he argues, people just need to get out of their own way to enjoy greater success. Being your best is what this presentation is all about and ex-local business leader and philanthropist, Sean Gordon, has been studying, speaking about and coaching in this area for 38 years. His own mentor is Bob Proctor the master coach behind best-selling publication Born Rich who also featured in the world-wide movie phenomenon ‘The Secret’. Sean first met Bob in Sydney in 2002 and worked directly with him in Toronto earlier this year.

At this session, you will learn:

ü Why most people have a "Knowing - Doing" gap;

ü Why some of your beliefs may be holding you back;

ü Why we become what we think about;

ü Why you so often do the wrong thing even though you know better (self-sabotage);

ü The difference between your conscious mind, your sub-conscious mind and your brain;

ü Why goal setting is so critical and why most people set goals that guarantee ordinary results;

ü Where results come (not where you might think either);

ü Why most New Year’s Resolutions are destined to fail (perfect session for the end of 2017);

ü The power of persistence and how our (largely under-utilised) mental faculties can create massive growth quickly;

ü The two ways that let you change poor habits so you achieve change that sticks.

This will be informative and entertaining and may just start you on a new direction with the challenges to your thinking that you will experience at this event. If you are stuck and want to change but have repeatedly failed – OR if you are seeking a step change for the better - make this a priority for Wednesday night 29th Nov. If you or your business want to do more, or be more, this seminar will give you the keys to a brilliant 2018.

NB: Profit from ticket sales will be distributed equally between:

1. the 2017 Clifford Gardens Toowoomba Hospital Children's Appeal; and,
2. The SchoolAid Trust

1. Our goal is to raise $100,000 to purchase the CTG Telemetry Software, life-saving technology used to capture vital patient information of both mother and child during childbirth. The CTG Telemetry Software has been developed to reduce the number of stillbirths and brain damage giving doctors and midwives vital support when it is needed most. The technology works by interpreting the CTG trace of the foetal heart rate, acting like an expert at the bedside. The CTG Telemetry Software is proven to half the risk of a baby dying or being brain damaged during labour, and results show that the technology creates a lower than low risk environment for high risk births.

2. A charity established by Sean in 1999 that aims to reduce the incidence of youth suicide, depression and anxiety by involving young people in philanthropy. See our facebook page @SchoolAid
