Exhibition Openings | To be Humanised 2 + For the Record
Event Information
About this Event
Friends and the Manning Regional Art Gallery are pleased to host our next exhibitions. Join us in opening exhibitions from Trevor Weekes To be Humanised 2 and Mark O'Brien For the Record.
Trevor Weekes spent approximately six weeks at Taronga Zoo in the big cat enclosure, sketching, photographing and observing their behaviour. For his new body of work he could not get up close to the big cats and therefore had to rely on observation from a distance and in most cases, the internet for reference. His decision to focus on cats was multi purposed. he has had cats as pets but has always admired the wild cats because of their beauty and majesty."
Mark O'Brien returns with more of his amazing collection of vinyl LPs, covering more than 50 years of music recording.
While there will be a limit on the number of patrons, and new arrangements for serving food and drinks, it should be (mostly) like old times.
Please do not come to the opening if you are not feeling well or have been in contact with someone who may have, or has been exposed to, COVID-19.
