The pregnancy and back care class is designed for women who are interested in keeping fit and healthy during their pregnancy. It is facilitated by a physiotherapist who specialises in pregnancy related issues. There is plenty of opportunity for discussion and questions. The class is for women of any gestation, however we recommend you book into the first available session.

There is a discount if this class is booked with any other program. You will need to enter the booking number for the other program at the time of booking.
This class is for women only.
During the class, you will explore:
Changes and discomforts of pregnancy
Back and pelvic pain: management strategies
Exercises to help you stay fit and feel good in pregnancy, including a gentle exercise session
Pelvic floor muscle function
Fitness and exercise guidelines
The pregnancy and back care class will be held in the Seminar rooms of the Education and Conference Centre at Westmead Hospital (enter via the main entrance of the hospital).
Please be aware that you will be required to pay for parking if you choose to park within the hospital grounds.
Tea, coffee and biscuits will be provided. Or you may like to purchase refreshments at Zouki’s café.
This session invloves gentle exercises, information and education to assist you ease your aches and pains and keep fit and healthy in pregnancy.

Do I bring my partner along with me?
Due to the personal nature of what is discussed this is the only session that partners are not to attend.

What is the refund policy?
A full refund may be given only in the following circumstances:
•Cancellation request 3 weeks prior to the class commencement date
