Event description

This EWP "Yellow Card" course is a fully compliant course sanctioned by the Elevating Work Platform Association. It's a fun day learning about the different types of EWP and how to operate them safely, as well as identifying hazards in the workplace and controlling them to ensure everyone's safety.

You will start off in the training room before being introduced to the machines that you'll check and then operate under direct supervision. You will operate all 3 types of EWP as you build your confidence under the eye of our accredited trainer / assessors.

After successfully completing this one day course you will have the required skills and knowledge to safely operate 3 types of elevating work platform (EWP) and you will become the proud holder of an EWPA "Yellow Card" to prove it.

See the frequently asked questions section below for information about ID, age restrictions and other important info.

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?

Yes. You are required to provide your Drivers Licence or Passport to verify your identification.

To qualify for an unrestricted "Yellow Card" you must be at least 18 years old.

What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the event?

Driving to the facility is the easiest way. There is free on-street parking available throughout the day.

What can I bring into the event?

As you will be operating within a real workplace it is important that some PPE requirements are met. Please wear steel cap footwear, hi-viz shirt or vest (we can supply a vest if required) and if you wish to bring your lunch then please do so. There is a "Smoko" van servicing this site most days. Tea and coffee facilities are provided.

How can I contact the organiser with any questions?

Please email us at admin@sitesafetyservices.com.au

What's the refund policy?

Where Site Safety Services (AUS) doesn't receive at least 48 hours notice of cancellation a 25% cancellation fee will apply. No refund is given for non-attendance or cancellation on day of training.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

Yes please. (Or at least have a copy of it on your phone)

Is it ok if the name on my ticket or registration doesn't match the person who attends?

Yes. We do however discourage this as changes to the participants lead to class time being taken up by administration / enrolment changes. Please ensure that the person attending has their drivers licence or passport as proof of identification.
