Friends Who Are Going
Event description

Description

Join iconic and ‘ordinary’ locals as they bring Kings Cross’ unique character to life. This special series, produced by artist and performer, Vashti Hughes, takes us on a journey through the decades.

Going back to the 2000s – the Cross is a party every night. The ‘naughties’ decade sees the impact of the Olympics, with an influx of international tourists visiting the area. Now on the world stage as the place for exciting nightlife, people are flocking into the Cross for a dose of fun. Living it large, the main drag resembles Easter Show crowds at the height of the holidays.
