Description

Come and join us!

As a valued CompNow customer, we would like to invite you to our upcoming Everyone Can Code professional learning event.

Our Professional Learning & Development Consultant, Karen Pastro, will be leading the workshop, and will be focusing on "Why Coding?" and Swift Playgrounds on the iPad.

We’re giving everyone the power to learn, write and teach code.

Apple believe that coding is an essential skill. So they created Swift Playgrounds and learning materials that will help everyone bring their ideas to life. Working with Karen, explore possibilities on how coding can be adopted across curriculum areas to ignite student creativity.

Learning to code teaches you how to solve problems and work together in creative ways. Apple have designed a new approach to coding that lets anyone learn, write and teach it.

Who should attend?

This 2.5 hour practical workshop is designed for teachers with any level of iPad experience and is aimed at teachers of junior & middle school.

Your own iPad is preferred but not essential. iPad can be supplied. Laptop is optional.

There are some digital materials that you will need to download prior to attending the workshop. Download Resources.
