EU Horizon 2020 information session

You are invited to an information session on 4 December 2014 to discuss opportunities for collaboration with the European Union under the EU Horizon 2020 program with representatives of the Directorate General for Research and Innovation from the European Commission in Brussels.
Horizon 2020 is the EU's new program for research and innovation which will run from 2014 -2020 with a budget of $A110 billion.
Hear about the strategic benefits to Australian researchers of being engaged in Horizon 2020, the practicalities of participation, with examples of past collaborations and joint research investment.
Representatives of the National Health and Medical Research Council and the Victorian Lead Scientist will outline sources of further support for collaboration.

EU Centre on Shared Complex Challenges
The EU Centre works to promote a shared understanding of EU regional governance and the Australian-EU relationship, developing ideas and responses to complex challenges, such as climate change, innovation and regional governance. The EU Centre is co-funded by the European Union and the University of Melbourne.
