Learn about how ethics and governance play a key role in human research projects

About this Event

Nurses who work with any cancer patients and who have an interest in building their research skills are invited to attend this webinar. This webinar will be delivered by representatives from the Austin Health Office for Research.

This session will focus on understanding the HREC process and will cover:

  • When is HREC approval needed
  • What an Ethics Committee does when they review a project
  • What is needed for Governance approval (Site-Specific Applications)
  • Practical do's and dont's when submitting an application
