Ethical Fashion Show

Limited spaces available | Light refreshments provided
What is it like to be a fashion designer working to make our clothes more ethical? Come and be inspired by home-grown ethical fashion talent at Whitehorse’s Fair Trade Fashion Show.
A pioneer in the Fair Trade fashion arena, keynote speaker Nick Savaidis will shed light on his journey of founding Etiko, now a leading Fair Trade and ethical fashion label.
Box Hill TAFE final-year fashion students take us through the journey they’ve been on this semester as they’ve explored ethical and sustainable principles in the fashion industry, culminating in a runway parade of their own exquisitely ethical garments. Alongside them, local ethical fashion labels will exhibit their creations.
Aspiring local film talent in the municipality will be on show with a screening of the winning entries of Whitehorse’s Fair Trade Fashion Short Film Competition.
