Event description
In these workshops you will explore your service/workplace’s consumption and individual practices and learn how to be an ethical consumer

About this Event

This is a commitment to two workshops over two months on Wednesday March 4th and Wednesday May 6th, 7-9pm.

At workshop 1 you will be required to make a commitment to make at least one change to your consumption and then report on your achievements/learning at workshop 2.

In trying to live more sustainably and support our children and families to learn more about sustainable living we have developed quite good skills in recycling, home gardening and some strategies for energy saving.

However, one of the key contributors to the current challenges for earth is consumption.

We are currently using fifty percent more resources that the earth can provide, and this is growing every year.

Our ever-increasing demand for resources and the consequent damage to the land, water and air is destroying our planet.

Now, more than ever, we know we must take action and every step in the right direction makes a difference.
