The original spirit of Art Du Déplacement (ADD) is coming to Australia - again!

For the Esprit Yamak Australia tour 2019, we are excited to welcome Chau Belle & Laurent Piemontesi. This is a rare opportunity in Australia to learn from their knowledge and way of training, push your boundaries, and challenge and broaden your comprehension of movement.

Some feedback from Esprit Yamak Australia, 2018:

"It was awesome."

"Inspiring."

"I was expecting we would run heaps but we didn't, which was good cause then we could focus more on the challenging strength and conditioning they had for us. My body was extremely sore the days after, but I had a great time. I learnt the Yamakasi mindset they have when they are training. I hope to apply this to my own training."

"So much more than I expected, totally awesome weekend. The whole learning experience was fantastic and very enjoyable. Was challenging and rewarding."

"I got an experience that challenged me and left me inspired, which was essentially what motivated me to sign up to train with the Yamakasi. I learnt new ways to train and maintain spirit throughout, and bond with the wider community."

"I was nervous because I am not very advanced technically. But at the end of the day, this didn't matter though as long as you tried. I enjoyed the out-of-the-box exercises, and I really liked the different strength and conditioning exercises. I definitely improved in certain technical aspects. By the end of the event, it also felt like the group was closer as a unit, which was good."

"What I learned is that when you find your inner music and fire, you can go a lot further than you thought if you keep going with positivity and determination. It’s about finding the rhythm and way that works for you. Yes, drill it as taught with discipline, but the point is to also dance or play with it. The workshop for me highlighted the diversity in rhythm and approach to movement within the community, and how you can learn from just observing another's way and encourage one another to try again."
