About our Keynote Speaker
Sue Cahill is a member of the advisory council of the National Centre Against Bullying (NCAB). An initiative of the Alannah & Madeline Foundation, NCAB is a peak body working to advise and inform the Australian community on the issue of childhood bullying and the creation of safe schools and communities, including the issue of cyber safety.
Sue’s school was the first school in Australia to gain eSmart accreditation. eSmart, an Alannah and Madeline Foundation program, uses a cultural change approach to improve cyber safety and reduce cyber bullying. Sue leads nine schools in the Victorian Government’s Respectful Relationships project.
Sue will share her school's eSmart journey and what impact it has had on a whole school improvement around wellbeing and cyber safety involving students, staff and families.

About our Workshop Leader
Katie Pinchas is a Digital Licence Advisor at the Alannah &Madeline Foundation
As a coach, facilitator, author and teacher, she is passionate about supporting vulnerable students to thrive. Her experience includes classroom teaching from primary through to Year 10, remote Indigenous literacy education, teacher coaching and education resource development.
The Digital Licence workshop provides an overview of current cyber safety issues affecting students and how the eSmart Digital Licence will spark scenario based cyber safety discussions in your classroom. You will receive practical support on how to implement and teach the program regardless of the year level, time restraints and crowed curriculum. By immersing in the Digital Licence, you will feel capable and confident to support your students with the challenges of being online.
This event will equip teachers with the knowledge needed to inform students, colleagues and parents on smart, safe and responsible online behaviours.
