EQUINE RECREATIONAL RAINDROP TECHNIQUE - Online Course
Overview
EQUINE RAINDROP TECHNIQUE
Our horses hold a special place in our lives— they are there for us physically and emotionally; as our teachers and as our trusted companions. They give so much of themselves, yet they also need care, understanding, and support in return. Just as we benefit from moments of restoration, horses too will thrive when given thoughtful, nurturing attention.
Imagine having gentle, effective tools to support your horse’s well-being without always relying on external interventions. This is where the Equine Raindrop Technique comes in. Developed in 1990, this unique modality can be used on horses of all ages, and it's heartwarming to watch as they often respond with deep relaxation and ease.
Equine Raindrop Technique blends elements of Tibetan Reflexology, equine massage, and the use of therapeutic-grade essential oils to support the horse on physical, emotional, mental, and energetic levels.
Whether your horse is a rescue needing reassurance, a senior seeking comfort and mobility support, or a healthy horse you wish to maintain in optimal condition, this gentle technique offers a beautiful way to nurture balance and harmony within the body.

WHAT DO I NEED FOR THE COURSE?
If you would like to practice on your horse during the course you will need the 9 Raindrop Technique oils from Young Living. If you have never ordered from Young Living before, please contact the teacher (susan@animalraindrop.com or 0438 885 049) for assistance.
During the course we will be making up a diluted set of oils, so for this you will need the Young Living V6 carrier oil , 9 empty essential oils bottles and a pipette or dropper. Please check with your local bottle supply businesses to order, or alternatively you can use your empty Young Living bottles if you keep them. Pipettes or droppers can be sourced from a bottle supply business or alternatively a chemist.
It will also be necessary to label these empty essential oils bottles, so you will need 9 adhesive labels and a pen (these can be sourced from your local stationery store).
For the theory component you will need a device to access Zoom, such as a computer, laptop, tablet or phone. For the practical component, if you wish to receive guidance from the teacher you will need to have someone hold your phone or tablet as you perform the technique. The teacher will then be able to watch and tweak your moves.
MEET THE TEACHER
Susan Marshall is the teacher of the Equine Recreational Raindrop Technique. She has always had a love of animals from a very early age. In her teenage years she learnt to ride horses and went on to become a trainer and competitor in dressage.
Susan's first career was a Queensland Police Officer where she served in a variety of areas including the Mounted Police. Following this Susan set up her own business as a horse-riding instructor, teaching people of all ages and abilities, including competitive riders.
In 2003, Susan was introduced to the Young Living essential oils and Equine Raindrop Technique and was astounded at the results she saw on her own horses. This ingnited a passion in her and she went on to practice this modality on hundreds of different animals over the subsequent years and witnessed countless miracles.
After a decade of operating her equestrian business, Susan decided it was time to devote her life to teaching others about the Young Living essential oils and products, and how they can be used on all members of the family – both 2 and 4-legged!
Furthermore it has been her passion not only to perform the Raindrop Technique on animals, but to teach others this technique, so that as many animals as possible can receive the gift that this modality has to offer.
