The practice of mindfulness has been around for thousands of years but has recently gained interest in the business world primarily because we now have the ability to do the one thing that was never possible before - see how these practices change the wiring and the makeup of our brains.

Mindfulness is a simple, scientifically validated exercise for your brain, also known as attention training, integral for us to sustain optimal health and vitality.

In this highly interactive EQ Cafe you will deepen your understanding of mindfulness and how to bring the benefits of mindfulness to all areas of your life. You will be introduced to the key concepts and the scientific research that underpins mindfulness today and how this impacts self regulation, leadership, relationships, resilience and wellbeing.

Throughout the session, group discussion will be interspersed with mindfulness exercises and simple, practical methods that you can take away to enhance your effectiveness, performance and wellbeing in every day interactions of your life.
