EPBC Reform Information Webinar for AgForce Members

AgForce has heard clearly from members that the EPBC Act changes have created significant uncertainty, particularly around what activities can safely continue and what may trigger referral. We are responding directly to your concerns. Join us next Friday at 12:00pm (Qld time) for an essential member-only webinar designed to give you clarity, support, and direct access to technical expertise.

We are pleased to confirm that a representative from the Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water (DCCEEW) will join the session to provide official technical guidance and answer questions about the new framework, referral thresholds, and the interpretation of continuous use. This is a valuable opportunity to hear directly from the agency responsible for administering the Act.

The AgForce Policy Team will also walk through how AgForce has been advocating to both State and Commonwealth governments to ensure that Queensland specific agricultural realities are incorporated in the State/Commonwealth Bilateral negotiations.

Most importantly, this webinar is a space for you to ask questions and get support from both AgForce and the Commonwealth. While some issues remain outside anyone’s control until further guidance is released, we will address everything we can and ensure your concerns continue to shape our advocacy at every level of government.
