Cessnock City Council is seeking input from the community to inform the development of a draft Environmental Sustainability and Climate Change Strategy.

The Strategy is a key action from the Climate Change Policy and will provide a framework to improve environmental sustainability and the effects of climate change in the Cessnock Local Government Area into the future. It will set our environmental direction by identifying the important actions we need to take to achieve our goals.

We want to understand what issues are most important to our community and are hosting two online consultation sessions to gather your thoughts and feedback. Your input is important and will inform the development of the draft Strategy.

This online session will take place on Monday 31 January 2022, 10:30am to 11:30am. Click on 'Select A Time' above to register for this session. A Zoom link will be sent to you upon registration.
