HELLO LADIES !!!!

I've been a National Breast Cancer Foundation Speakers Ambassador since 2005 and now I'm a Zero Hero - in short the day I found out I had qualified for the Athens Olympics I also found out my mother had breast cancer. The family had been keeping it from me during the trials - because my family knew all too well how devastating breast cancer can be as we lost my paternal grandmother to it when I was 10. As I was on the podium getting an Olympic gold medal placed around my neck in 2004 I was thinking of my Mum back at home who had undergone a mastectomy, chemotherapy and had been doing radiation treatment - I decided I wanted a world where there are ZERO deaths from breast cancer. 16 years on and thanks to research my Mum is lovingly still guiding me and checking I'm a good person !

My staff, friends and I at Hitting Targets believe every death from breast cancer is one too many. To achieve this, we are raising funds for more research. On the weekend of the 5th/6th December 2020 we will be doing Try Clay Target Shooting sessions - for ladies 16 years and older - we will also have a shooting demonstration from talented female clay shooters, charity auctions, lucky door prizes, raffles and an actual shooting competition for ladies who shoot regularly, there will be stalls and also a gift and information bag for every attendee !

The NBCF is Australia’s leading national body funding game-changing breast cancer research with money raised entirely by the Australian public.

We really believe research is the best way to prevent deaths, and improve how breast cancer is diagnosed, managed and treated. NBCF is working towards one goal: zero deaths from breast cancer by 2030. Together we can help them get there.

PRIZES

1st/2nd/3rd overall (decided by shoot off)

Drawn lucky number shoot off - ie. if lets say for example "No 2" gets drawn out of the hat, then if your score out of 150 has a number 2 in it (eg. 122, 29, 112 etc...) then you will go into the shoot off

* ladies need to be licensed category A shooters and have their own firearms & ammunition

** ladies need to be competent enough to shoot unassisted ... if not get some coaching from Suzy before the day

*** each participant receives a "Pink Clays SWAG BAG" .... some freebies, info, discount vouchers etc.

**** AND there are lots of lucky door prizes too, and raffles and silent auction
