About this event

Are you interested in Starting a Business? Do you have a hobby or interest that you could turn into a Business Opportunity?

Let's investigate the possibilities of creating a new venture of self-employment. This could be a micro-enterprise, lean start up or even a company!

Join us in discussing a new pilot program for disabled entrepreneurs who are ready to start their own businesses!

About this event

The Barefoot Office has created a pilot program, with a step-by-step approach for disabled entrepreneurs who have an idea that they want to turn into a business.

What we’ll chat about:

- Finding your passion… What’s your business idea?

- How do we support you best to make your own decisions in your business?

- What can you do better or differently – niche your business!

- What does a visually appealing business plan look like?

- Linking business mentors, fun marketing and collaboration

The Barefoot Office is a social enterprise, that provides programs to support people with disabilities to start or grow their own businesses. We foster and facilitate start-ups that have founders with disabilities or mental health, with individualised mentorship and guidance. We assist in creating individualised employment alternatives, nurture entrepreneurship, and strengthen community connections. Increasing feelings of value, inclusivity, and REAL economic participation for people with barriers to mainstream employment is our business😊

If you don’t have an idea for a business, we can assist you in finding what your speciality is!!!

Disability entrepreneurship may not be a journey that everyone can embark on but the good news for anyone thinking of taking the plunge is that there has probably never been a better time in history to do it.

We would like to develop and grow a community of entrepreneurs with disability, connecting and sharing knowledge with each other.
