Event description

Description

Based on the overwhelming majority vote from our inaugural event held in April, this exciting workshop will be focused on how to design a ‘Value Proposition’ model for a new Start-Up.

This session is for University of Melbourne STEM Research Students and Melbourne Business School students. It is the first of a series of workshops based around ‘Entrepreneurial Frameworks’ organised by the STEMBEA team with the focus being on the importance of designing solutions that address a problem rather than a single idea.

Michael Vitale (GM – Wade institute) will be opening the event and the ‘Value Proposition’ workshop will be facilitated by Kwanghui Lim (Associate Prof – Melbourne Business School and Wade Institute) and STEMBEA team.

We will also be joined by Trent Castella (CEO and CO-founder - Scanned) who will share his successful entrepreneur journey and provide insights on how you too can maximise your opportunities.

So come along disrupters and innovators from all walks of life - science, technology, biomedicine, mathematicians, business and many more to join our workshop and networking event. This is a great opportunity to learn and meet like-minded individuals over drinks and nibbles.

RSVP by Wednesday the 13th July.

This event is organised by The Wade Institute and STEMBEA*.
