Event description

Description

In English Language, you have to learn a substantial amount of content, but you also need the skills to be able to apply this knowledge. Anyone can go through a textbook and memorise definitions, but to score well in this subject, being able to discuss and analyse relevant material is an undeniable necessity.

That’s why our English Language lecture is going to cover everything from the foundations of sub-systems to tackling the most difficult kinds of essay topics, with particular emphasis on the kinds of analysis that will give you a supreme advantage heading into the exam

And you can’t do any better than someone who got a 50 and a Premier’s Award (to go along with his 99.95 ATAR and 4 other raw 50 scores). Our lecturer Thushan is pretty much the best possible person to guide you through this subject, and he’ll take you through so much metalanguage, you’ll be listing deictic pronouns in your sleep for days. Most importantly, this session will be jam-packed with that most precious resource in English Language: examples to use in your essays! Whether you’re struggling to get by with all the content in this difficult subject, or you’re just looking for that extra edge to push your essays into A+ territory, Thushan’s lecture will have something immensely valuable for everyone.
