Intermediate English Conversation Classes for individuals who want to improve their English.

About this event

Georges River Libraries English Conversation Classes are for individuals who want to improve their English.

Each week, for ten weeks, you will be guided through a discussion of different topics and have the chance to ask questions.

Intermediate classes are suitable for those who have skills in speaking English but want to refine their skills to become more fluent and confident when speaking in groups.

Starting 2nd February running each Wednesday until 7th April

Class sessions are held from 10.00 am -11.30 am

Please note this program has moved online and will be facilitated via Zoom to ensure the safety of both staff and attendees due to the current COVID situation.

Each session is guided by a facilitator who will help you understand English Learning practices as well as improve your speaking and reading skills. Each week you will receive learning materials such as items from our library collection, worksheets and digital videos and games.

These classes are free and are very popular with limited spaces, when you sign up, you are required to attend every class.

Disclaimer about non-attendance:

This program series will not be recorded and cannot be accessed after the scheduled time. If you are unable to attend, please cancel your registration and your spot will be referred to someone on our wait list. As Library Programs have limited spaces and repeated failure to notify staff of cancellations, bookings may be refused in the future.
