Join us for our second Regional Meeting for 2018 with the requested topic of Obstetrics & Gynaecology. As usual, we will discuss the latest trends and cases, covering all levels from beginners to masters.

EMUGs events always include an opportunity for you to meet other POCUS enthusiasts in a friendly and casual networking enthvironment over a beverage (or two).

1. Clinical Leaders Meeting- Advancing the use of POCUS in EM

EMUGs WA invites POCUS leaders to join us for an inspiring and progressive meeting to collaboratively advance our hospital's ultrasound programs and that of the use of ultrasound in emergency medicine.

This meeting is a fantastic networking opportunity and a great way to learn from one another.

This meeting will be chaired by EMUGs WA’s Co-Chairs, building on developments from previous Clinical Leaders Meeting and from the collective progress of EMUGs members across Australasia.

Stay on after this meeting for our Education Sessions focussing on Obstetrics & Gynaecology with guest speakers talking through case studies and more.

Who is The CLM Targeted At?

If you are a FACEM, SEED, Advanced Trainee Ultrasound Educator, Ultrasound clinical leader, POCUS enthusiast, experts or educator, senior registrar or special skills trainees we would love you to join us.

2. Education Session - Obstetrics & Gynaecology

Our education sessions feature guest speakers who are experts in their field. We disect the topic Obstetrics & Gynaecology through a POCUS lens, review cases and as always allow the opportunity for networking and public forums to discuss your burning questions.

- Approach to Gynae pelvis/ovarian pathology presented by Dr. Beverley Hewitt

- POCUS approach to pelvic pain presented by Dr. Michael Bogseth

- Early pregnancy presented by Dr. Richard Hay

- Early pregnancy cases presented by Dr. Stephen Dunjey

- POCUS and pregnancy gone wrong presented by Dr. Tennika Jacobs

EMUGs is a not for profit organisation supported by a small central operations team. Ticket sales fund EMUGs operations so we can continue our mission of advancing the use of POCUS in Emergency Medicine.

What is the best way for me to get to/from the event?

There is plenty of timed and untimed street parking within walking distance. Alternatively the hotel is near the 85 bus line or Freemantle train station.
