Join us for our second EMUG Victoria Regional Meeting for 2018 with the highly anticipated topic:

Pregnancy & Paediatrics

As usual, we will discuss the latest trends and cases, covering all levels from beginners to masters.

EMUGs events always include an opportunity for you to meet other POCUS enthusiasts in a friendly and casual networking environment.

Clinical Leaders Meeting (Commences 3:30pm)

EMUGs Victoria invites POCUS leaders and enthusiasts to join us for an inspiring and progressive meeting to collaboratively advance our hospital's ultrasound programs and that of the use of ultrasound in emergency medicine.

This meeting is a fantastic networking opportunity and a great way to learn from one another and features our journal club, open forum and discussion topic. Our discussion topic this meeting will be how to advance and advocate for the Directors of Emergency Ultrasound in your ED.

This meeting will be chaired by EMUGs VIC's Co-Chairs, building on developments from previous Clinical Leaders Meeting and from the collective progress of EMUGs members across Australasia.

Stay on after this meeting for our Education Sessions focussing on Pregnancy & Paediatrics with guest speakers talking through case studies and more.

Who is this for?

This session is aimed at those managing ultrasound programs and education within their department or clinicians with advanced POCUS skills/interests. FACEMs, Sonographer educators and advanced trainee's (especially those on special skills terms or with advanced ultrasound qualifications or interests) are welcome to attend. Education Session - Pregnancy & Paediatrics (Registration & Canapés 6:15pm)

Our education sessions feature guest speakers who are experts in their field. We are extremely privileged to have 3 amazing presenters who all hold Diploma's of Diagnostic Ultrasound through ASUM.

EMUGS Victoria is proud to present:

Dr Lindsay Bridgford is a FACEM at Maroondah Hospital and has been heavily involved in ultrasound training and teaching both privately and through the University of Melbourne. Lindsay will discuss Early Pregnancy Scanning in the Emergency Department

Dr. Adam O'Brien is a Paediatric FACEM at the Royal Children's Hospital in Melbourne and is one of Australasia's experts in Paediatric POCUS. Adam will discuss the Use of Ultrasound in Paediatric Emergency Medicine
