Abstract
Moving from traditional classroom focused teaching strategies to multimedia enabled, flipped classroom and virtual internship based teaching strategies is daunting, challenging, but also rewarding. This presentation outlines the process (including trials, errors, and successes) of one Academic’s three year journey from traditional teaching strategies to the implementation of an award winning teaching through virtual internships approach. The presentation will discuss the benefits of teaching through various forms of multimedia enabled teaching strategies, and participants will reflect on their own teaching to identify the key challenges, and to start the process of thinking about potential remediation strategies.
Program includes presentations relating to this topic and issues of Employability of LTU graduates.
