The Emissions Reduction Fund (ERF) provides a positive incentive for businesses to undertake various energy and fuel efficiency projects. Collaborative projects offer an opportunity for businesses to benefit from the ERF without having to set up and manage an ERF project directly. Collaboration between project aggregators, businesses, building owners and service and product suppliers can result in large scale projects which benefit all parties.
To facilitate the development of such projects, the Clean Energy Regulator, the Department of Environment and AusIndustry are pleased to invite you to a half day ERF information and networking event. These free events will be held in Townsville, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth in the week 29 February to 4 March 2016. They will be facilitated by the Carbon Market Institute (CMI).
These invitation only events will bring together medium to large energy users, service/product providers and project aggregators to learn more about the energy and fuel efficiency opportunities under the ERF and the various collaborative models of participation. You will hear from current ERF participants as well as get information from the Clean Energy Finance Corporation (CEFC) and AusIndustry about the assistance they can provide to companies looking to get involved in the ERF.
These events will provide ample opportunity for networking and include a light lunch.
