Emerging technology assisting wellbeing, psychological states, psychology treatment and therapy will be explored in this conference.

About this Event

In the last 50 years, technology has rapidly changed our everyday lives. Instead of being ‘out there,’ it has settled into a more ‘intimate’ relationship with us. But how has technology changed the way we do therapy and can it assist us with our psychological wellbeing?

What tools will we be using in therapy and Psychology in the future?

What is the effectiveness of the use of technology in assisting wellbeing?

What are the emerging technologies being used now?

What are the ethical implications?

Join us to find out more! Meet the speakers researching and using these technologies in therapeutic settings. Sample some of these technologies.

Using Virtual Reality to treat the fear of Public Speaking and other phobias. - Marcel Takac

Using sound, voice, light and colour to release stress, and for empowerment & wellbeing. - Cy Gorman-Nurobodi

Technology to assist in accessing peak and transcendental states of consciousness.

Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) Therapy
