In early 1997 Elliott Smith released his 3rd album Either/Or which became one of his most popular and iconic albums. Sadly he passed away in 2003, but he is remembered and admired continually through his music across the globe. The recent doco titled 'Heaven Adores You' had very well attended screenings in Australian cinemas.
On Friday Jan 13th a range of Melbourne acts will celebrate the 20 year anniversary of this album by playing songs off that record, plus other adored records of his such as XO, Figure 8, From A Basement On The Hill & Roman Candle.

It’s sure to be a very special and intimate evening to celebrate the music of Elliott Smith.
Part of the proceeds will go to the Australian Childhood Foundation. Acts include Jack Parsons (The Pretty Littles), Sarah Mary Chadwick, Christopher Coleman Collective, Lisa Crawley, JP Klipspringer, J M S Harrison, Sophie Koh, Emma Heeney plus more TBA.
