Executive Chef Adam Draper presents ‘Street + Eats + Beats’, a street food inspired degustation set among the beautiful surrounds of Deakin University's secluded Waurn Ponds Estate.

Watch the sun set below the Summer horizon as you journey through a reimagined street food experience that will showcase produce from throughout the Bellarine Peninsula & Surf Coast.

STREET

We'll transform the Estate's outdoor dining area & lawn into an urban streetscape giving you the experience of a street party atmosphere.

You and your friends will enjoy a continuous supply of handmade food, craft beverages and summer cocktails while being entertained by live music and games on the lawn.

EATS

Don't expect burgers and tacos from a food truck; this will be street food reimagined by one of Geelong's leading chefs.

The menu will consist of reinvented morsels you can eat with your hands, crafted from some of the best produce the region has to offer.

BEATS

Nothing says 'street party' like live music, spacious green lawns and an endless supply of mouth-watering food and craft beverages to keep you hydrated.

Relax and socialise with friends, or enjoy a game of Jenga, Finska or Bocce.

  • Adobo spiced locally caught gummy shark fried in semolina, pickled yellow pepper
  • Crispy pig's ear, Ravens Creek Farm egg, edamame, Vietnamese rice paper pizza
  • Jade tiger abalone from Indented Heads, young ginger, Otway shitake
  • Bao of twice cooked duck, pickled cucumber, hoisin

We now move into the Otway popup restaurant for a formal main and sweet

  • Double black label marble grade 9 + striploin from Sher wagyu Ballan spiced carrot puree, bone marrow
  • Nutella ice cream ball rolled in hazelnuts with a dark chocolate centre
