Eight Miles - Brisbane City Council Community Street Tree Planting
Event Information
About this event
Eight Miles Plains Community Street Tree Planting
Get your hands dirty at our Eight Miles Plains Community Street Tree Planting where we aim to plant 417 street trees across the suburb.
Bring the family and friends to enjoy helping us to greener our suburb. Afterwards, enjoy a free sausage sizzle and collect your free native plants for participating!
All materials are supplied and the holes are pre-dug. BYO water bottle and wear suitable footwear. No experience is necessary to join.
It is all part of Brisbane City Council’s vision to create a cleaner and greener city. Street trees create habitat for birds and wildlife, clean the air, cool our suburbs through shade, while also increasing property values.
**** PLEASE NOTE: Participating volunteers are required to register before the day, due to capacity numbers for COVID-19 restrictions. ****
COVID-19:
