Description

Tapping in schools? What is it? Is it a useful technique? Will it enhance well-being of students? Will it help academic focus and behaviour?

Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) has been used since 1995 to help deal with fear, anger, depression and anxiety and physical difficulties such as pain.

Margaret Lambert, a registered psychologist in private practice in Darwin, a PhD candidate at Charles Darwin University, a former educator in schools and tertiary institutions, and the author of two books in the areas of health and well-being, and meditation, is researching the use of EFT as a whole class technique. She will be presenting on using Emotional Freedom Techniques: Tapping in schools.

This presentation follows the Annual General Meeting of The Association of Private Practising Psychologists Northern Territory (APPPNT) and teachers, parents, researchers and interested people are welcome to attend.

LOCATION : CDU Blue Precinct, Building 5, Room 1.01.
