Description

The process of transforming research students from knowledge consumers into knowledge producers is improved by the ability of students and their supervisors to engage with industry and community to deliver impactful research out-comes. Strategies to assist student researchers and supervisors enhance engagement is the subject of this workshop.

  • Years of industry experience in executive and consulting roles focused on talent selection and development.
  • Executive level experience in Higher Education in external relations, industry engagement and business development. Doctoral thesis Examiner.
  • Current and past chair of numerous industry and community Boards and Committees (Chamber of Commerce, Regional Development, Higher and Secondary Education, Salvation Army, Citizens Advocacy, Olympics.
  • The first Doctor of Business Administration and an Honorary Fellow of the University of Wollongong. Active researcher. Adjunct Professor - Swinburne Leadership Institute.
  • Leadership development practitioner. Passionate about others success.
  • Member of the Order of Australia for significant contribution to community. Order of Merit NSW Olympic Committee.
