Description

Effective delegation and the coach approach to work - Personal Development Skills Training

Do you delegate? Up or down? Let’s look at how you can do this comfortably and effectively and all the benefits you will reap by trying it! Then we will start to explore what a coaching approach to working with others could look like. You will be given a framework to practice both in the session and back in the work place.

Course background:

We are excited to bring you a Darwin local Personal Development Skill Programme, that is not only great quality but it’s affordable too. We have been searching high and low for the perfect room for this training to ensure costs are kept down. Thanks to Kentish Lifelong Learning we have found one for our 2018 program.

We will be running 12 Wednesday morning sessions for 9 – 11am the year. These sessions will give participants practical tools to take away, along with a boost of motivation to help fly through the rest of the ‘hump’ day!

Benefits of PD programs: The Harvard Business Review March 2017 published that the average replacement cost of an employee was 21% of their annual salary. (This cost includes the recruitment cost along with the re-train costs). Huffington Post conducts an employee survey every year to find out where people like to work and why. The findings last year showed that the number 1 reason for employees staying in their jobs for longer was due to having personal growth opportunities and the employers valuing them enough to invest in PD training for them. Think of the cost saving for all organisations if it was possible to hold onto staff for even just a few more months! Plus enjoying the benefit of increased job satisfaction, motivation and productivity.

It is these findings that have motivated me to develop this training program for the Darwin Market.

Target audience: Business owners, Managers and anyone else looking for personal growth and ideas of how to boost their productivity at work.

Cost: $60 per person session or $600 for a seat at all 12 sessions (This mean that company will buy the seat and can send different people along to sessions). Note: there will be a small booking fee through Eventbrite.

Please note the courses will be run only with a minimum of 4 participant and a maximum of 20.
