Description

Want to develop your soft skills by working with a team to solve a real-world problem? Sign up for the Education Design Challenge WA, presented by Teach For Australia.

In order to receive all details please remember to register.

You've probably heard of design thinking by now. Whether you're a student or a professional, design thinking is a powerful approach to problem-solving in any discipline, enabling you to critically analyse a system, come up with multiple solutions, and then quickly test and iterate them to find out what works.

In the Education Design Challenge, you'll work with a small team to come up with a scalable solution to a real-world problem: redesigning the education system for the 21st-century. It's a great opportunity to develop soft skills like teamwork, communication and creative problem-solving, that employers are seeking out more than ever.

Across the day, you'll learn crucial skills in a series of mini-workshops, from systems mapping and human-centred design approaches to protyping and pitching. With your team, you'll work out what's already being done, ideate solutions to fill the gaps, iterate your best ideas, and present your solution to a team of experts. You'll experience the design thinking process from start to finish, and hopefully you'll have a bit of fun while you do it!

You can register as a team, or as an individual, and we'll set you up with a team on the day.

Register your interest today, and start getting your design team together. We look forward to seeing what you come up with!
