Event description

Description

In this event, our keynote will tackle one of the biggest challenges to bringing digital innovation to the classroom... protecting student privacy.

Katrina Valencia is the head of P-6 at Prince of Peace and the author of the blog Tech Talk which aims to educate parents about digital technologies in the digital age. Katrina has overseen the implementation of ever more digital technologies at Prince of Peace and has been through the rollercoaster of privacy scares. She'll be sharing insights into how she manages to keep the school moving further into the world of innovation without compromising on student security.

On top of this amazing keynote we'll also be having a series of 5 minute teacher presentations. There are in fact still spots available so if you'd like to present then please to reach out on the Facebook group (facebook.com/edtechbne).

As always, this event is not for profit and all money collected goes towards food, drink and venue hire!

Looking foward to seeing you there :D
