FOR STUDENTS AGED 8-11 YEARS
Want to learn programming from champions?
In this workshop, past members of the international award-winning Chancellor Team will show you why they are the champion LEGO® sumo robotic wrestlers!
Using LEGO® MINDSTORMS®, learn how to design, build and program a sumo robot and develop important skills in creativity, problem-solving, confidence and teamwork. This workshop will take you from introductory through to intermediate robotics in an exhilarating, collaborative and fun environment.
Where to meet: Please meet us outside the USC Art Gallery where parents and guardians will be signing their students in, and out of, eDiscovery.
What to bring: BYO morning tea. Students are encouraged to bring a water bottle and a light, healthy snack for morning tea.
COVID-Safe information: Remember to adhere to social distancing guidelines. Hand sanitiser will be provided. If you feel unwell, please do not attend this event.
Educators: This workshop is facilitated by ZEST Robotics, Royal Robotics and USC preservice teachers - third-year education student teachers with current Blue Cards.
