This one day workshop will be delivered by Professor David McKinnon and Dr Michael Fitzgerald, two astronomers with experience in astronomy education and STEM learning. During the day you will experience hands-on, real-world astronomy that can be integrated into the classroom. You will also receive curriculum resources that model exemplary inquiry-based teaching and learning for you to take away. The resources reflect contemporary practices of authentic astronomy as well as in the classroom through the Australian Curriculum.
The event is fully catered and free parking will be provided. You can select which day you would like to attend: either Tuesday 6 December or Wednesday 7 December.
This event is by invitation only - however, we encourage the general public to email Julia Morris at firstname.lastname@example.org and we can place you on a waiting list for any vacancies. You will be notified if there are places in mid-November.
