Description

ECU School of Education

Presented by Dr Graeme Gower and research leaders from the School of Education.

Join us to learn about the extensive program of education research at ECU and how you can become involved. Following an opening address by Dr Graeme Gower on Cultural Competence, other key researchers within the School of Education will showcase their work in priority areas (including STEM education, literacy, learning technologies and early childhood education) and highlight the opportunities for collaboration and capacity building in schools and communities. Stay afterwards for refreshments and networking, and take the opportunity to view our display of other researchers’ innovative work. This year we welcome the participation of HealthInfoNet who make a national contribution to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health across Australia.

If you are considering enrolling in a PhD or MEd by Research, the event is a great opportunity to meet with our staff and current postgrad students in an informal setting, and learn about the research conducted in other areas of education (e.g. the arts, health and physical education, behaviour management, educational games, teacher professional learning, etc.).
