Overview

The EcoStruxure Power SCADA Operation: Project Deployment Level 1 Course provides the skills and knowledge to deploy Power SCADA Project. It includes practical activities with Protection and Power Monitoring Devices. The course covers the process of installing the software, creating and configuring a project, managing devices in the system and using built in libraries to create the graphical interface of a project.

Formal training time… 4 days theory/practical and a 25 minute On-Line module.

Primarily for…Applications Engineer/Product Application Engineer. Technical Support Engineer. Field Service Engineer. System Integrators/Partners.

You need to…Be familiar with Microsoft Windows OS. Have basic knowledge in networking and communication protocols used in substation automation. Have experience in power monitoring and network protection devices.

Objectives and Content

The EcoStruxure Power SCADA Operation: Project Deployment Level 1 Course will cover the following content:

- install Power SCADA,
- create and manage projects using the Project Setup Wizard and Power SCADA Studio,
- use of profile editor to create device profiles and device types,
- establish communications with I/O devices,
- create graphic pages and manipulate graphics symbols from built in libraries,
- generate and manage events, alarms, trends and waveforms,
- configure the Advanced Reporting Features,
- deploy a Power SCADA Web Client, and
- create custom page templates.
