Latrobe City Council, Regional Development Victoria, Trade Victoria and Alibaba Group are delighted to invite you to a special workshop series in December exploring e-commerce, tourism, food and products opportunities through the Alibaba Group e-commerce ecosystem in the Gippsland region.

Today, more than 529 million mobile monthly active users connect through Alibaba’s China retail marketplaces each month with Australia being the 5th most popular country for products on the Tmall and Tmall Global platforms. In the year ending in January 2017, more than 1.2 million visitors from China travelled to Australia with many using the Alipay Super App to book travel arrangements and purchase products and services during their visits.

What are the opportunities for Gippsland brands and exporters and how can these companies take advantage of the booming e-commerce market to drive exports and connect with new markets? How can tourism retailers and attractions utilise Alipay to drive footfall from Chinese visitors?

Join experts from Alibaba Group and its partners for an interactive workshop to better understand how to access opportunities through the Alibaba ecosystem.
