Ecology in the Pub - Celebrating Albert’s Lyrebird

About this Event
Join us for the inaugural "Ecology in the Pub" which will celebrate our elusive and emblematic Albert's Lyre Bird.
You will hear about some of the latest findings of this very shy and hard to observe bird from wildlife ecologists and conservation scientists
- Tim Low, wildlife biologist and author of “When Song Began”. Lyrebird evolutionary history (via ZOOM).
- Sandy Gilmore, wildlife ecologist, has studied lyrebirds locally for many years (in person).
- Fiona Backhouse, lyrebird researcher from Western Sydney University, will tell us about Albert’s Lyrebird song and dance (via ZOOM).
- Trails for Tails - survey technology and citizen science (in person).
Tickets are free with donations on the door.
This is a limited ticket event due to Covid Restrictions so if you no longer require your ticket we would appreciate you canceling your ticket via Eventbrite so that someone else can attend. There will be a waiting list.
Covid safety is in place.
