Description

The introduction of a space charging model has, amongst other things, ensured greater visibility of energy use and facilitated improved ownership of practices required to reduce energy consumption. There is now a very real financial incentive for local areas to be more energy efficient.

Ecoleaders are local sustainability representatives who are supported by the Office of Sustainability to action, measure and monitor local energy efficiency efforts. Ecoleaders with the support of their Manager, can undertake training with the Office. The half day training session will cover:

  • Identify energy and cost saving opportunities
  • Implement efficiency initiatives
  • Engage the hearts and minds of colleagues’ to create a switch off culture
  • Learn about available resources and funding opportunities


Ecoleaders will be supported throughout the year with specific campaign information and collateral resources.

When: Tuesday 17 February 2015, 9am till 2pm, morning tea and lunch provided
