This one-day workshop offers participants:
1 An overview of ecosystem approaches to health (also known as EcoHealth);
2 Knowledge of the key EcoHealth principles and how they can be applied at a regional and local level;
3 Case studies, theories and concepts from leading EcoHealth and One Health experts;
4 A field trip to the Yarra Bend Park to explore EcoHealth principles and concepts onsite (sponsored by Parks Victoria);
5 The opportunity to build your international EcoHealth network!
Following the field trip, participants will be ferried to the opening ceremony of the OHEH2016 Congress (will depart Yarra Bend at 4pm to arrive at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre at approximately 4.30pm).

The cost of transport (from Melbourne University to Yarra Bend Park and then onto the Melbourne Convention and Exhibtion Centre), morning tea and lunch are included in the ticket price.

The organisers reserve the right to cancel this event with a full refund if there are insufficient numbers.
Please contact the event organiser if you need to cancel your booking. Cancellations before 5.00pm Monday 28 November 2016 will be refunded with a $10 cancellation fee. Cancellations after 5.00pm Monday 28 November 2016 will not be refunded (except if cancelled by the organiser). Refunds will be paid through the Eventbrite website within five days after the event.
