About the books:

The Lonely Plastic Bag This story aims to raise awareness about the environmental impact of single-use plastics, encouraging children to think about the journey of plastic bags after they’re thrown away.

The Apple That Doesn’t Belong This poem tells the story of an apple that feels out of place after being eaten and thrown away. The apple doesn’t want to end up in the bin or stuck with the plastics, it wants to go back to the earth, where it can break down naturally and help new things grow. Through its journey, the apple teaches us about composting, caring for the planet, and making sure we throw things in the right bin. It’s a gentle reminder that even small choices, like where we toss our waste can make a big difference!
