Eco-printing with leaves and flowers, combines the art of science to pose a mystery of Mother Nature.

This 6 hours educational workshop will suit all levels from beginners to creatives who enthusiastic about exploring this intriguing knowledge of printing with real plants in an environmentally friendly way

Tatiana has the drive and determination to help you to explore your personal creativity, as the Eco-printing process quite a complex knowledge, Tatiana prepared for each student step by step instructions in PDF format , to follow " The Aussie Way" technique at home.

The first hour you will learn about Eco-printing process and create your own composition on silk scarf using huge variety of plants, flowers and natural dyes extracted from different parts of plants to create a colorful background . Tatiana will generously share her knowledge about fabrics preparations before eco-printing process , natural salts and additives she uses . You will learn the correct way to roll your bundle to achieve a crispy prints on silk.

During this half a day workshop, You will get to enjoy a few hours of diving into Eco-printing process following steps by step instructions in a very friendly and welcoming environment at Tatiana's Eco-printing and Fashion studio, which is located in the heart of Subiaco and facing to a Rokeby road.

The most exiting part of the workshop is after 1 hour of steaming, your bundle is ready to unwrap, a little gift from Mother Nature, waiting to show you its mysteries! feels like opening a Christmas Present under the tree!

Tatiana is preparing Eco-printing Kits which includes PDF instruction, fabric, all ingredients, dry flowers and leaves and natural powders used at Tatiana's " The Aussie Way" Eco-printing Technique to practice at home after workshop. This Kit should be requested separately before workshop by emailing Tatiana, so she can organize it for you and you can get it on the day of workshop.

P. S. Tatiana's Eco-printing and Fashion studio is a designer's creative space in the historical building so workshops are run with minimum of 2 students to a maximum of 4 attendees. Friendly atmosphere is guaranteed!:)

Workshop is listed 5 hours long, but quite often students are getting too exited and would like to take time to make their plants composition slowly... in that case it can take them a bit longer... Everyone is different generally saying 5 hours is enough to finalise all process, but Tatiana is allowed her students to play with plants longer if they wish so. Please keep that in mind when you planing your day.

Workshop starting after lunch time students will have one hour relaxing break with drinks and treats between 5-6pm.

Street parking is free on weekends and free car parks around the building ...

Knowledge Required:

No experience in Eco-printing needed (but desire to have fun preferred!)

What you'll get:

1. Silk scarf , especially prepared for a successful printing process.

2. A big range of different plants and flowers will be provided on the day.

3. Natural dyes extracted from leaves, flowers, barks, roots, will be prepared by , to use in the Eco-printing process .
