Friends Who Are Going
Event description

This is a Spring Equinox "get together, celebrate & share" for all environmental & green groups of Hobsons Bay area ( aprox Altona-to-Footscray). It's for garden groups, parks groups, bike groups, recycle groups, community groups, nature & wildlife groups, active transport users, food-swap groups,,, "all welcome" (but space limited).

- The event is supported by Sustainability team at Hobsons Bay Council.

- The spring solar equinox is close to this date, and we thought it's cool to celebrate and recognize the seasons & nature.

The format will be a an introduction from our MC, Louise Karch, and then the opportunity for each group to talk briefly (5 or 6 minutes) about what they do, why it is important, and how people can get involved. (lightning/burst talks, with a time-limit). Please choose / book a "Presenter " ticket if you can present about your group at this event.

The planned outcome of the event would be an exchange of information. It is suggested that each group could also bring along an A4 flyer, postcards etc with their information for interested people to follow-up and connect.

- PLEASE BE ON TIME, WE HOPE TO START ON SCHEDULE, to make the most of our venue & time.

- After the event and talks, a morning tea & snacks will facilitate chats & connections; approx 11.40 - 12.10.

Please be aware this event may be filmed/photographed for publicity, let our media crew know if you wish not to be included.
