Overview
Join Japanese artist Nami Osaki to learn simple Furoshiki art techniques for wrapping gifts in a beautiful eco-friendly way!
Furoshiki is a Japanese traditional wrapping cloth that is eco-friendly and mostly used for wrapping gifts and carrying goods.
In this workshop Nami will share her knowledge of traditional and modern Furoshiki art techniques for wrapping different sizes and shapes of gifts, and making many types of sustainable carry bags!
You will also learn some easy up-cycle techniques to create your own unique Furoshiki with what you already have at home!
All participants are requested to bring : 2 x empty wine bottles and 2 x regular size (rectangle) tissue boxes. (We will have spares if you can't supply these.)
